Comerica names head of newly combined trust unit

Thirty-year veteran Sajdak to lead Detroit bank's fiduciary services group. Comerica has put veteran staff member Robert Sajdak in charge of its new Private Fiduciary Services group, which combines Comerica's Personal Trust and Strategic Trust Alliances business units.

Sajdak, who has been with Comerica for more than 30 years, will oversee $18 billion in personal-trust and wealth-management assets, as well as the development of Comerica's U.S. personal-trust business.

Trust together

Prior to his latest appointment, Sajdak had been head of Strategic Trust Alliances.

Comerica's Private Fiduciary Services group is a part of its Wealth & Institutional Trust unit, which caters to affluent clients and institutions. It includes Private Banking, Investment Management and Trust, Comerica Securities, Comerica Insurance, Institutional Trust and Retirement Services, and Wilson Kemp and World Asset Management.

Detriot-based Comerica has twenty-six Private Fiduciary Services locations in Michigan, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Delaware, California, Colorado, Arizona, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, New Jersey and Massachusetts. -FWR
